Privacy notice
Last updated 2026-10-30
This notice explains what information this website collects, why, where it goes, and the choices you have. Karimont Food Safety Consultancy is an independent practice run by Thomas Kunjumon, who is responsible for the information described here.
What I collect
- What you enter in the enquiry form: the help you need, details about your business and situation, your name and work email, and, if you choose to give them, your company and phone number.
- Anything you send me by email or text, or tell me on a call.
The website has no user accounts, takes no payments and doesn't ask you to upload documents.
Why I use it
Only to reply to your enquiry and, if we agree to work together, to scope and deliver that work. I don't sell your information, share it for marketing, or add you to mailing lists.
Where it goes
An enquiry sent through the form passes through the website's hosting provider and an email delivery service on its way to my business mailbox, where emails you send me directly are also kept. These service providers handle your information only to provide their service to me. Some of them store or process information outside Canada, where it may be accessible to authorities under the laws of those countries.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiries and our correspondence for as long as I need them to reply, to carry out any work we agree, and to keep the business records the law requires. After that, I delete them.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. It stores one small note in your browser's session storage, recording that the “Book a call” invitation has already been shown so it doesn't appear again. The note is deleted when you close the tab.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information I hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, except for records the law requires me to keep. Email thomas@karimont.com, and I'll respond within 30 days, as Canadian privacy law requires.
Your privacy rights come from Canada's federal private-sector privacy law (PIPEDA) and, where it applies, provincial law. If you're not satisfied with my response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
